So today we are gonna review this watch called G-shock I
wanted to go ahead and pick one up I got a lot of feedback saying you know to
go ahead and do it they're great watches and you know I've been seeing a lot of
g-shock watch reviews. So I figured I'd go ahead and drop the money for it and
go ahead and pick one up now I am by no means a watch reviewer I'm not a watch
expert either you know so you know basically this is going to be you know my
initial impressions on the watch and you know just what I think you know
personally again it has nothing to do with the manufacturing of the watch or
anything like that it's it's pretty much going to be more an aesthetic thing.

So you know that as
you may so basically this is the other box that it comes in so it's pretty cool
box it's a black box G-shock on there and stuff like that and the model that I
got was the GA 100 - 101 now if you guys don't know what that is you'll see it
in a couple seconds when you open up the box you have the obviously your
instructions here and let me tell you they're very involved these watches so I
would definitely recommend if you're not familiar with watches - go ahead and
read this because there's a lot of things that the watch can do and a lot of settings
you have to go through so definitely recommend it so a little manual but
it's pretty thick so and this is obviously you know that my watch came with
and this is what my watch cost Rs. 12995. So it’s not too bad you know
obviously and when it comes to you know to try something out I've been when
wearing my Oakley minute machine for the past three and a half years so I
wanted to try something a little bit more sporty and you know obviously from
the reviews I've been seeing a lot of good things about a G-shock.
So I went ahead and give it a try so when you open this up
you've got this kind of tin box underneath really cool shape really cool design
to it, it's pretty small which is nice and you know you go ahead and open this
up and it's got this little kind of design shape that goes on top of there to
kind of protect it and the watch actually sits in there so let me go ahead and
pull that out so you guys can see what it looks like and basically this is this
is the watch it's pretty reflective it's an all-black band black face black
casing pretty much everything is blacked out um and that's kind of what I liked
about it, this is obviously a digital and analog watch and as you guys can see
the time the seconds ticking away there but I really like it you know it's it's
very I guess for lack of a better word tactical looking you know just it's kind
of all blacked out all stealthy looking and then you know all you pretty much
see are the white hands they're a couple things I would definitely have liked it that the hands were luminous you know that maybe charge it with a
flashlight and they glow I know I believe the one that you know they make this
indifferent colors the one a one has to do you know obviously with the
coloring of this one they have one that has some red in it and stuff like that
I think that one has luminous hands in it but on the display is actually
inverted where it's the gray background with the white numbers or I'm sorry
the gray background with the black numbers so obviously you know you get what
you know what you want so I wanted the all-black one so that's kind of what
this came with now obviously this does have a light you know since it does have a digital features
to it and you know.

WATCH ANALYSIS
One of my other Grudge on the watch um the light it's cool
that it has the light but the problem is the light is kinda like an orange
yellow color and you know I kind of figured you know being all black like this
that there would be made a maybe gone with like I don't know like a white or
maybe not that into a glow that time excuses that you know kind of bluish
color but you know just something else besides you know that yellowish
color and let me see little it'll pick it up here so as you guys can see you
know it stays on for about three seconds and right at the bottom of the watch
right here is where it actually illuminates and it kind of bounces all up in
there that's my other gripe I wish they would have maybe I'll have it
illuminate from the back or have one on top of one on the bottom maybe make it
a little brighter you know just because um I actually tried it tonight while
I'm driving it will illuminate and you'll be able to see the hands but since
it's black since the background is black you actually can't see like the date
or you know if you have it set to the digital time you can't see the time that
way either so you know it's uh obviously it's more of give-and-take and stuff
like that but awesome watch you know it has you know you can set it to where
it's audible alarms so you know you can actually hear them you know it has like
an hourly time signal so every hour it'll it will beep and stuff like that it
has four alarms which are uh you know really cool especially if you have you
know maybe throughout the day you have four different things that you need to
be reminded on what to do when things like that the battery is approximately
about two years so you know I guess you know obviously not being sold or
anything like that I guess it's you know it's standard for these type of
watches it is water-resistant to 200 meters the cool thing is that it has the
12 and 24-hour format I'll you know as a lot of watches digital watches have
and it's magnetic resistance which is really cool you know so um you know it
won't be messed up or anything like that if it comes close to the magnet and
then it has a world the world time 229 different time zones and it's really
cool you know you can set the time zone and it will actually set you to know
the hands, if you need it to it, does have a stopwatch and it also has a
countdown timer so you know those are you know pretty cool features so let me
see my camera pick this up so as you guys can see it's got the two displays you
know right now it says mo in for Monday and that's the seconds counting down
and over here it has the date so actually, right now it's set to the time
so as you guys can see it says ten thirty-nine I hope you guys can make that
out but if you hit this button right here it'll switch it to the date. So season
now switch to it the one up here is the other one for the light so you hit that
and then the light comes on as you guys can see there and then you know it has
your modes and you know your to adjust the time and stuff like that so you know
by hitting this button right here it actually cycles through the mode so see
there it goes to to the stopwatch it'll cycle to the timer you'll cycle to the
world time there it'll cycle through the alarm and then they'll cycle back to
the standby menu.
CONCLUSION
So really cool you
know obviously like I said if you guys have dealt with digital watches before
then you know you it's pretty familiar as far as that goes if you haven't and
obviously, go ahead and read the manual the band is really nice it's all black
and then it has the two clasp which is really -really cool it's very
the comfortable band let me go ahead and put it on so you guys can see what it
looks like excuse me for a second and I've been wearing this for the past three
days and so far it's been very very comfortable so you guys can see it's
pretty big face on the watch. Like I said you know I'm used to wearing the mini machine which has a pretty big square face also some I'm used to that so
that's what it looks like on me you know I don't wear it too tight I like it to
UM to have a little wiggle room just you know just in case I get snagged upon
something like that I wanted to to be so tight but um you know it works really
really nice one of the other complaints that I would have is that you know um
the face is very reflective which is a pro you know a plus in other words you
know you don't want you to know to reflect the glare and you know to the glare to
you know up so it's reflective sort of like the glare but polonaise in certain
angles if you're trying to read the digital portion of it because of the fact
that it's a black background with you know dark lettering it you know it kind
of makes it a little difficult to do that so see if I turn it to this angle it
kind of looks all all-black like that you know I have to kind of turn it a little bit more towards me in order to be able to read it so sometimes while
you're driving if you have your hand on the steering wheel you know obviously you
want to you can see the other hands there so you know that's the plus on
having both the analog and digital but you know if you want to see like the
date or if you're maybe timing something on wanna you have to you know go-ahead
and you know the angle it more towards you so really really cool I like the fact
that everything is blacked out you know I've seen somewhere they have like the
lettering and white and I'm assuming that after a while maybe that will rub off
and stuff like that so this way there's nothing to rub off it's it's really
high on the wrist which is really cool but it's very impact resistant you know
as you know the tuff G shocks are supposed to be so hopefully this will go
ahead and last me a good while I'm not going to wear this as my everyday watch
I mean I'm still going to rotate it in and out with my mini machine but this is
more of you know if I'm wearing cargo shorts more sporty clothing you know
they don't go ahead and throw this on you know if I'm wearing jeans or khakis
or whatnot I'll throw the other mini machine on so again this is the G Shock
GA1100 definitely for the price point 100 bucks I would definitely recommend it
if you guys can find this variant go ahead and try it and stuff like that
because you know I think you'll really like it especially you know like I said
if if you want to be pretty tactical or whatnot now that's not the reason I got
it I just kind of like the variation of this one as opposed to the other one
with the red, I don't you know I don't really wear a lot of red sometimes so you
know I want it to match with more stuff so really like the watch thanks
for all the guys that have been reviewing their watches lately you know
if you guys think that people aren't watching them or getting ideas from them
you know you're wrong I definitely took a lot of cues from you guys and in
purchasing mine.
Timex Mens Camper Expedition
Now, we are gonna review this watch name Timex Mens Camper.
This watch is so amazing. Timex Camper Expedition a classic watch is an analog watch it is number T four to five-seven one and it
sound like I'm on QVC or something but I'm not I'm on a little.
BUILT
I just made for me and myself and I and kind of cool things
about this is really for getting out there live in life hitting the
mountains um kind of a quarter and nylon strap here you know I what I like is
you just get a lot for your money and with Timex and they're they're
inexpensive how expensive is this watch you know this is a 30 dollar watch
let's look at this band first of all because it's the first thing that jumps
out of me, it has kind of a plastic or polymer top piece here and then a bar
that's holding in the band and you have this really cool two-tone but tiered
nylon band so you've got this kind of dark kind of almost olive drab but
goldish color top piece and then a wider so you get this kind of tiered effect
which appears to just be black but shiny so you know really cool I love that.

There's just a little
bit if you saw my review with my ball the BMO railroad limited edition watch
it's leather but it does this kind of the same effect and I and I really dig it
cool gold stitching a right around there and it's a sturdy man you know good
thick nylon top and bottom the retaining loop here is rubber so it's not nylon
it was round and the buckle keeps that nice and secure in place so first of all
that's awesome go on you're hiking mountain trips let's get this plastic off
here so it feels better without the plastic then you've got this the watch
itself in the case here looks polymer donut feels polymer let's get rid of this
out of there - oh there we go start this bad boy up there she goes so it's kind
of unique because it has this polymer case back a stainless steel backing here
it's under three ounces and the case itself is not particularly large now
for all your heaters out there big watches you're gonna love this then because
it's not big alright so I did go ahead and grab my calipers because I couldn't
find the size but when I had measured it from this side to the end of these
crown protection lugs here it is 40 millimeters so this isn't a big watch and I
know a lot of people don't like big watches I love big watches um but this is
cool they're primarily one because when you go out hiking you want to carry as
little weight as possible the I like that the band is nice and long here by the
way so I have a fairly big wrist and got
plenty of straps left on there and it looks good it especially like I said when
you're out camping hiking you want something light you want something small you
don't want to get snagged you kind of want to go as streamlined as humanly
possible so really cool I think they call it a resin case here that I think I'm
sure the inner part of the case may be it has some metal but this it's this gray
resin it is really grey it kind of at a glance almost looks olive drab but it
doesn't seem to really actually have any green in it the watch is water
resistant 250 meters of so presumably you don't have to worry about swimming or
showering with it.
It has an analog quartz movement obviously in can you hear it
I can definitely hear a ticking so you know pretty simple construction I
mean at this price point you're not going to have a lot of super high
quality components so what kind of looks like the band up here is a little
chewed up that's actually chewed up but it's like a little glue leaking
through or something like that so this is what it is you can set the time by
pulling out here to the first position and rotate it around and get your your
flat ends in the time you'll like and then let's see and get guess it looks
like and then to do the date you just have to rotate all the way around so if
the dates not right hopefully you're close because you're going to be doing a little bit of winding now let's get on to the dial itself black dial and it's out it's a flat black with white Arabic
numerals all the way around it our minute markers there is that the 12 o'clock
pip is yellow which is carried around the inner numbers here for 24 hour
military time and second hand as you can see there and highlighting the date
window so it has just kind of a military tactical type look the cool thing
about this is the Indigo so I'll press it here you can see the integral
lighting up that black background that's kind of cool because typically when I
see into a glow on watches I always think of them having a white or bright
colored face so the fact that you've got the Indiglo function here on a black
dial is pretty cool and it's really easy like said these the crown protectors
here are going to prevent you from burning out your battery by hitting that all
the time because it keeps it pretty flush but it's pretty easy to kind of just
press it in your your your skin will do the heavy lifting there that is kind of
the substitute for having luminescence or super-luminova or glow-in-the-dark features
on a watch because the Indiglo just lights up everything I actually really
it yes it's nice to have kind of glow-in-the-dark features because at a glance
you don't have to do anything you might see but as you know and I know puts
glow-in-the-dark anything in darkness for a while then it just starts to disappear the beauty of Indigo have at any time the case is pretty standard the lugs are
curled down here it wears pretty easily one of the things that I remember
reading in the description was something about velcro straps and I don't know
if that's how you know you know these are the this is nylon that is used on
like I mean it seems like kind of backpack straps I don't know if that was kind
of the reference there but overall really cool adventure watch like I said not
super expensive 30 ish bucks you get that trusted time expert name and you know
something you could beat up.
Fossil FS4656
In this is review I'll be reinforcing FS4656 Fossil watch
that comes with matte black casing and has this one in front rugged finishing
with a diameter of 42 mm and case with paint 1 mm with the rugged two buttons for
stop clock and solid horizontally threaded crown with the set time and date. Than
comes with three small chronographs right one being the 24-hour clock and the
bottom on left one for tracking stop clock seconds and minutes respectively
base dial color is dark brown in combination with rose gold and shiny copper
hover markings and it's same with the chronograph hands the watch has a three
layer of 3d effect they make one consists of all the three chronographs and the
second layer consists of all the shiny power markings and the last one is slightly
lifted up which shows the seconds coming to the strap it has a buckle in matte
black.
FEATURES
With a bit of a
rugged finish and the free loop is quite broad and it's in the black strap is quite
thick and also has a layer of stitching coming to the other side of the watch
as you can see there is a small hinge with which you can easily swap with the
straps and this can pick up my ATM water pressure when it has completely cooled
back casing let me quickly demonstrate to you how this stop clock mechanism works this
bottom chronograph tracks the seconds and once this completes one full circle
it's going to enable one tick in the minute Conan graph here click on this
button will start the stop clock now it has started click on the same button to
stop it if you wish to restart it again click once more now click on the same
button to stop it so once the clock is stopped and if you wish to reset it use
the bottom button to reset the clock so I am going to do it now yeah that
resets it this watch weighs as a whole 80 grams and this came into the market in
2012 grows really well with business at it will look pretty cool with casual
student.
