Best Cameras for 2019-20

All cameras are a compromise. Finding the best camera for you is a process of discovering which balance of strengths and compromises suits your style of photography. For example, there's no point buying a big, powerful full-frame beast if you're mainly looking to do hobbyist travel photography.

So, here are some Best Cameras Recommended for a perfect photography

Canon EOS 1500D 24.1 Digital SLR Camera

This is the Canon EOS 1500D or rebel t7 in some places this little camera was released earlier this year alongside I guess the 3000 d which is a very similar camera honestly they're so similar that even though I'm not reviewing the 3000t it's really hard to talk about one without the other there are only a few really small differences between the two they have the same size sensor the same megapixel count the same process like all of that stuff they're both entry-level DSLRs they're both aimed at people looking to step up their photo game a little bit from shooting on their phones to shooting on something a bit more serious and then we dropped it just then oh my gosh the main differences are the size of the screen is three inches on this one the 1500 d whereas the 3000 d is a third of an inch smaller 2.7 inches this one is compatible with NFC so you can link it up to your compatible Android or Canon device and also this one can link up with the Canon GPS device the 1500 D I think there might be a sale on the Australian Canon site at the moment where it's currently going for 692 dollars 55 which is very specific um the 3000 D retails for about less there honestly if GPS and screen size and NFC aren't that important to you then I would probably go for the 3008 because in other respects, they are basically the same camera that said I haven't actually held and shot with and tested out for 3000 d so this review is about this camera I should probably talk about this camera right the first thing I thought when I took this camera out of the box was oh my god it feels like a toy it is really light there's really plasticky and kind of dinky I mean a light camera definitely isn't a bad thing in terms of portability like it's really easy to pop in a bag and carry around with me which is great especially if you're traveling but to me it feels a little breakable like all of this the plastic it just feels kind of cheap and it is a pretty cheap camera I guess not cheap necessarily in the like you know nearly  at the moment so that's it's not super cheap but as far as DSLRs go that's definitely on the cheap end of the scale and that's something that's really important to keep in mind with their 1,500 D that because it's a pretty inexpensive DSLR can't expect too much it does have all of the features that you would absolutely expect from a digital camera in 2018 it has Wi-Fi so you can transfer your photos to your phone or use your phone as a remote control to take a great group photo it shoots HD movies 1080p at 30 frames per second or as far as still, as it can shoot at 3 frames per second and this is the age of Instagram so there are a bunch of built-in creative filters as well as far as features go in this day and age that's actually pretty Spartan so there's no 4k video no flip out screen or touch screen there's not even a mic input so if you are a vlogger this is definitely not the camera for you I honestly can't see very many people using this camera on the manual or semi-automatic shooting modes I can really imagine most of them will go for the automatic shooting modes so I really wanted to test it out the way that a consumer would probably really use a camera so I took it out for a little shoot with my boyfriend Chris he's very accommodating and dragged him out put him into some full Sun because that's the Instagram look these days and we took a bunch of photos I also use it to take a bunch of photos of food a la food bloggers maybe food Instagram uh that's a thing right and I took some photos of my friends in a pretty dark skating rink because I wanted to test out how it performs in low-light as well and I did all of this pretty much on the auto modes the two that are really worth mentioning of course, it has program auto like any camera with manual settings which is pretty normal but it has seen intelligent order which will really do all of the heavy lifting for you and creative auto mode which gives you a little bit more control over what your image looks like one thing I really like about the scene intelligent order even there you have no the settings of camera chooses it does display the settings that the camera is choosing for you as you look through the viewfinder and also on the screen on the back so probably helps if I turn the camera on so as I'm looking through here I can see that the camera has chosen an ISO 800 f7 point one and two-hundredths of a second for that photo that I just took of you but as I'm calling the camera when you're first learning about the exposure triangle and how to choose exposure settings there are so many numbers to keep track of that it can be a little bit overwhelming so I think it's nice that you know without having to choose any of the settings yourself you can be like well I'm shooting outside in the Sun right now and the cameras were chosen a low ISO number and a really high shutter speed number so that's something that I will remember for when I'm choosing my own settings outside with that in mind if the camera is doing a good job at choosing all the settings for you then it's really easy to get lazy and just let it keep doing that so you know that could go either way too because like they're just in the bottom of the viewfinder as normal where you would usually find exposure settings and on the screen they kind of over here on the side so it would be really easy to ignore them as well and learn nothing I guess it's finally either way but you know it's nice that they're there I like fit there they're creative auto mode is an interesting one because it gives the user a lot more control over what their photo looks like in the end without using all the overwhelming terms like aperture and shutter speed and all that stuff so you probably would have to read the manual to work out how to use it but you put it on the creative Auto mode, you get the cue button you can use the d-pad is it still called a d-pad if it's a lot of the video games I'm gonna call it the d-pad you can use that to navigate around and there's a scale to make your background more blurry or sharper so that's an aperture control it's not called that there's an option for drive mode so you can switch between single and continuous and there are also self-timer modes there and one moreover to the side you can control whether your flash fires or not or whether you make that decision - and back up at the top there's a bunch of like color presets standard vivid soft warm intense cool bright etc I'm in two minds about this because I really like when people learn to use their cameras to their full potential because people are always asking me like why doesn't my friend look like yours and I'm like cuz I studied how to make it look how I wanted it to look in my head creative auto mode will help people to get the look that they want but they don't know what's changing so they don't know how to control it you know on another camera I think it's great if people are getting the photos that they want to get but I also think it would be nice for them to understand how they're doing it so it's useful it has its moments it is what it is it's an the inescapable fact that corrupt senses just don't perform that well in low-light that remains true for the 1500 D it does okay but I really think that the combination of the crop sensor with this pretty dinky little 18 to 55 millimeter lens here which is a pretty decent range on a crop sensor it's like fairly wide fairly close pretty versatile but sharpness if sharpness is important to you I would probably suggest investing in a different lens not long after purchasing this baby because it's just not that sharp honestly a lot of people probably wouldn't be able to tell if you're consuming all of your images and editing them and sharing them and everything from your frame then it's probably fine to stick with the kit lens but if you were going on holidays and you want to print out a canvas of the beautiful landscape photo that you took on your trip and you're gonna put it on your wall and it's pretty big then you're probably maybe if your eye is a bit refined you might notice that your shots not that sharp I always suggest for beginner photographers if they're looking to branch out in terms of their lenses and Canon has a lot of lenses out there to start with a nifty 50 which is a 50-millimeter f-18 lens they're cheap they're sharp they're beautiful I have one and I actually still sometimes use it at weddings sometimes I'll just keep my macro tubes on it and I'll use it to shoot the rings but I'll use it for portraits because it's a beautiful portrait lens and that's gonna give you a little bit more flexibility in low-light because of the really bright aperture F, 1.8 is a very wide aperture which lets in a lot of light it's gonna give you a sharper photo it does restrict you in terms of focal length because it's fixed at 50 millimeters it would be a really good combo with this camera if you just wanted to elevate its ability a little bit it would also help with that artistic shallow depth of field look because of F 1.8 being a wider aperture means a more shallow depth of field but you will have to be careful with your focusing cuz she'll eat up the fields shallow depths of field mean more precise focusing necessary and I have found the autofocus on this camera to be pretty great it's quick it seems to guess well what you want to be focusing on accepting live view autofocus in live view is unbearably slow and difficult and it's hunting and it can't quite find what you want so stick to the viewfinder I would say I want to give a big shout-out to the Canon camera Connect app that's really hard to say it's like a tongue twister Canon camera connect that Canon camera connect ah difficult but it's a fantastic app it's the best one I've used so far for transferring images to your phone and connecting up to your camera to use it as or use your phone as a remote control I feel like camera connecting apps must be really difficult to engineer because most of them are really clunky they look crappy and they crouch a lot but I managed to hook this up really easily to my phone it wasn't difficult at all to connect them up over Wi-Fi and then I was able to look through all of the photos I'd taken give them a star rating out of five and then transfer the ones that I liked to my phone for editing without the cat the app even crashing once it was amazing and that's definitely what you want especially if you're traveling you know you're like I've got 20 minutes before I have to board this plane I'm gonna edit up some photos get them ready for Instagram or whatever um in the apps crashing on you all the time like that's that's not the dream having me out of work beautifully we would take it for granted because you know Apps is supposed to work really well but it was really nice good job Canon major props to you well done so would I recommend this camera to a beginner photographer or a keen Instagrammer only if the video is not important to them at all honestly if you wanted a DSLR because it makes you feel a bit cool like there's nothing wrong with that you're like this is my professional camera that's totally fine by all means go for it I think the ideal situation for a camera like this, I think it would be an incredible gift for a keen Instagram enthusiast or maybe like a teenager or a student who has expressed an interest in photography wants to learn to shoot on manual settings please don't waste your DSLR they are beautiful cameras using them to their full potential learn how to use them it's like all of that information is floating around out there on the internet for free so you have no excuse the price point is fantastic for a DSLR but with that in mind there are a lot of things that can't do so it's definitely not the great all-rounder kind of camera I really enjoy reviewing cameras it really broadens my horizons to try some of the other stuff that's out there because I've always been I learned to shoot on Nikon cameras and that's why I still will shoot with Nikon cameras and just was like well I know how to do this so I'll keep doing this trivia I've never actually used any of the high-end Canon DSLRs like I've never shot with a 5d Mark anything so that's something that I hope that I could test out at some point in the future you can hook me up guys if you like to read and you would like to read more of my thoughts on this camera the full review is up on the iris comm today you which is the lovely sight who looks me up with all of these review cameras.

Canon IXUS 185 20MP Digital Camera

The Canon IXUS 185 is a new budget compact camera the canon 185 features a 20 megapixel 1/2 point three-inch ccd sensor into 10x optical zoom lens which is equivalent to twenty-eight to 224 millimeters in 35 millimeters terms 720p movie recording Wi-Fi connectivity and intelligent image stabilization for stills in movies having been selling digital exudes cameras for the past 15 years and at one time selling them in droves Canon as the manufacturer has taken and if it ain't broke don't fix it approach 2017 s latest iteration of the long-running series many might suggest the market has moved on thanks to smartphone and tablet integrated cameras largely killing off the dedicated compact point-and-shoot category that he exudes very much falls into it but it appears this particular attractively stylish and slimline camera family is still standing with the IXUS185 and it's equally sibling 190 announced back in February this year the former is the model we have on our tests lab for today in a maroon reddish livery its headline features include a large 20-megapixel effective resolution from a smallish 5.3 inch CCD sensor so what could convincingly entice someone to buy a digital IXUS in 2017 well if the manufacturer's pitch is to be believed the Canon digs Zeus 185 is not just about looking stylish which it does but having fun with photography switch it on in this feels like a beginner's model the automatically operating in the dedicated easy auto mode when you first switch it on meaning there isn't really anything one can do at heart from point-and-shoot we therefore quickly navigated our way to finding the program mode on our own model so we could exert some control over light sensitivity ISO settings and the integral flash begin I don t fire the latter when we wanted to not just when the camera team flash was warranted and then compensate by bumping up the ISO if needed to be fair even with program shooting mode implemented operation is still pretty much point-and-shoot all the way even if the Ixus does have some creative shooting digital filter options lurking within its menu screens if you want to get ever so slightly more hands-on rather like a smartphone in other words at least that means operation is a cinch and anyone more used to a camera phone than dedicated camera won't be thrown.
